Get A Free Consultation With The Cancer Hair Care Commitment
Experienced trichologists see so many different stories of people who are dealing with hair loss that happens for so many different reasons and the devastating effect it can sometimes have on their well-being and mental health.
One of the most moving stories, and one that touches far too many of our lives is when people start losing their hair as a consequence of cancer treatment. Sometimes this is temporary, sometimes it happens in patches and rarely it can lead to total hair loss.
This is why I am working with the charity Cancer Hair Care to help people going through treatment and dealing with hair loss.
I have completed the Independent Hairdressing Practitioner Level 1 Course through Cancer Hair Care, a charity I believe strongly in and want to make a big commitment to.
As part of this, I will provide patients who have lost their hair as a result of cancer a free consultation, either over the phone or via a Zoom call.
This session will give me a chance to give you my expert view on your hair loss and what trichology can do for you.
Because hair growth and loss are determined by so many different aspects of your treatment, environment and genetics, a conversation is the best first step to letting you know which treatments are right for you and what you can expect from trichology.
I will also give you a clear idea of what types of treatments may or may not work, and an overview of what to expect in terms of costs and the length of treatment.
As well as this, I am a specialist in hair colouring, with a strong network of hairdressers who specialise in many different hair types and hairstyles, as well as guide you towards one that might be the right fit for you.
There are so many worries that come with cancer treatment, but hair loss should not be one of them, and you should know that you never have to fight this alone.
